(I received) red and blue package of 5 blades, labeled stainless. no SUPER in MY PACKAGE LABEL. these blades are great. However every blade I have encountered labeled super stainless is pure junk. barely lasts through two, 2 pass shaves with the grain. Funny thing is, every package of rapira blades I have opened, all bought at the same time from maggards in a sampler pack deal earlier this year, all of them are about 80% SUPER STAINLESS. And the labeling is pure crap, like the printer was running out of ink. Platinum lux gave a decent shave but creates awful burning that lasts the day. Its a joke really. Great for the price, stainless steel always works better on my face then coated blades. Seem to get 3 quality shaves from this blade.

I used this blade in a Maggard MR5 razor, It gave me an exceptional first shave, very smooth and effective achieving BBS... but the next time I used it 2 days later the shave was considerably rougher and I had to change the blade. I used 4 blades and got 4 excellent shaves, my son used one of the blades and felt the same way, the initial shave was excellent but the blades do not have longevity.
